What you need to get started
We set up the system and prepare the QR code. On your side, you only need this:
- An admin user in ENIGMA 360°.
- A list of employees: name, phone or email.
- A printed letter-size QR sign for each entrance.
- A smartphone with a camera and internet for each employee.
- Browser permission to share location, only at the moment of clocking in or out.
- Ten minutes to show employees how to clock in.
Tips for placing the sign
A well-placed sign scans in a second, and nobody "forgets" to clock in.
- Post the sign at eye level, right next to the entrance door.
- Pick a well-lit spot so the camera reads the code quickly.
- Outdoors or near water, put the sign in a plastic sleeve.
- Do not post the sign behind reflective glass or in a dark spot.
- If a sign gets worn or torn, reprint it with the same code.
Privacy and transparency with employees
A good time clock builds trust, not suspicion. This is how the system keeps the balance:
- Location is recorded only at the moment of clocking in or out, not during the day.
- Tell employees in advance, in writing, that the system records location when they clock in or out.
- Each employee sees their own punches, and the manager sees the whole team.
- Check the rules on timekeeping and employee privacy that apply to you with your accountant or legal advisor.
